Hi folks , I'm thinking of applying for a soft dtv next year , my question is as this is a 5 year visa , if I move provinces is it just a matter of registering my new address or is it more complicated than that ? Would it affect my visa negatively?

Hello

I registered my gf's house at the TM30 portal and added my name to this address .

The status of my gf's house register is "Approved", the status of my address registration is "Informed" and I can download the receipt.

There is no function to upload my passport copy file on the address register page.

If you go to the immigration office with a TM30 you need to show a passport copy.

Why not if you register online?

Or did I make something wrong?

Hi. I hope to be moving to Thailand next year ( subject to selling my house). I plan to move in with my Thai girlfriend who owns a house. Is she able to provide me with a certified address as required for my retirement visa?

Thanks,

Hugh Pursey.

Just visited phuket immigration for the latest list of documents for the Non O retirement visa. There seems to be a couple of changes from last year. Photo copy of every Thai stamp in passport, all photo copies of documents in portrait NOT landscape. Must update your Tm30 (address) at room 101 or drive through first on day of application. Bank statement from visa issue date.

Advice wanted, I will arrive in Thailand on a DTV in December and will be staying at a friends house for a few months, do I register this at the local immigration and would I need something from the owner to confirm I’m staying there. I will be staying free so I don’t have a rental contract or anything.

Also I need to leave the country in February and then March for work a few weeks at a time. Do I need to register each time I return or just inform them when I’m leaving for the rest of the year in april

thanks in advance for the help

Arriving on a 60 day visa exempt stamp

TM30

It has been awhile since I’ve arrived using the visa exempt stamp. Unfortunately, I have a deadbeat landlord who refuses to file the TM30 for me. In the past, I’ve always went to CW to file the TM30, as I was on a Non-O visa.

I’m wondering, which office do I go to file the TM30 when arriving using the visa exempt stamp?

Thanks.

Hi everyone,

I've NON B Visa, re-entry Permit, Italian passport.

I went Laos few days, today afternoon I will re-entry Thailand by Friendly Bridge, than fly to Bangkok.

The address I've registered is in Phuket, but I plan to stay 10 days in Hua Hin before to go back to Phuket where I live.

My question is:

Do I have to do any 90 day report or any report about my address?

Thanks.

Have a good day.

So here you go James miller. You ask to post separately so I am. Arrived through air, wife owns the house with proper house book, she’s dual citizenship, I’m American so visa exempt stamped in for 30 days, when we arrived by flight BKK we passed through Thai side immigration together, and I always ask about the tm30 registration. And also asked in Thai language so I’m certain immigration understands the question. I also asked local immigration about the tm 30 and they both said it’s not required if I flew in to Thailand and was told if I arrived by a boarder crossing it was required. I would like to either go for 30 day extension or just cross over to Laos and stay one night and get re stamped in for an additional 30 days. On previous trips, many many trips I had a non oa visa and never did a tm30 registration because I left at the 89-90 day mark. Surely if it was required it would have been addressed at arrival or departure at the airport. I just can’t imagine I was lucky all those times. Curious what your thoughts are.
