It is not a commercial company, they offer a service for foreigners. The application is NOT denied but a better option is being adviced by Immigration. Sometimes you have to look in a different way.

As a few kilometers away the border to Malaysia is open for travellers, no reason to support unable to travel,

There is NO 7 day Extension of Stay. IF the Immigration Officer not approve your application, you will get a stamp in your passport as not approved application and 7 days to leave the country.

AS Had Yai is very close to the border with Malaysia, Sadao checkpoint, which is open, the Officer advised you to make a border run and get 30 days of stay. Less money to spent and less passport space used to get a stay inside Thailand and not have to pack your bags and leave the country within 7 days.

There is no minimum time you have to spend outside Thailand before return, BUT you must meet all the requirements for the new Thailand pass.

Visit the Immigration Office, apply for a new Extension of Stay, worst case scenario is your application is not approved and you get 7 days to leave the country,

bring and show your flight tickets dated 20th May 2022.

And these 7 days are enough in your situation.

Yes, if you leave the Kingdom with an Under Consideration stamp, you get normally stamped out. The under consideration period will be cancelled if the person does not use the Re-Entry Permit and permission of Immigration to travel.

I do not know the reason of application at Immigration and the reason of this under consideration stamp, my answer is the standard procedure from the Thai Immigration.

The Visa Exempt Entry is 30 days and not likely to be changed due to 45 days quarantine as the rules are easing up.

a Single Entry Tourist visa gives you 60 days on entry, so all the time to enjoy the holiday. If you decide to use the 30 day Visa Exempt Entry, you should calculate minimum half day at Immigration Office to apply for the 30 day Extension of Stay based on Tourism.

You apply for this Extension of Stay at your local Immigration Office and there are more than 70 offices nation wide.

and you applied for the conversion of a visa exempt entry or tourist visa into a Non Immigrant O visa at the same Immigration Office as the OP?
Robert *******
You apply at the Immigration Office where your address is registered.

You do not have to travel to Bangkok first. If your application gets denied, you will get a stamp application not approved and 7 days to leave the country.

Sorry to tell you, but travelling around Thailand to find one officer in over 70 offices who is willing to give you 60 days stay based on being unable to travel is a lot of travel.

Alternative: Apply for the Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years of age at a Thai Embassy or on line

before you make your way into Thailand. Get 90 days of stay on entry and after 45 days you can apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age. For the Extension of Stay there is no proof needed that the money comes from abroad.
