Hello friends😁
Thank you for your advice last time🙏
I am called to immigration in Bangkok on May 12th. I am a tourist I am currently staying for about 5 months. I did a covid extension last time, but I was given only a one month extension instead of a two month extension. However, if I came back a month later, I was told that it would be extended for another month for free. I do not know why. The staff was told that if it was only a few days late, it would not be an overstay. However, I plan to go to the countryside from the 12th. So I want to go by the 11th of the previous day. Do you think this is possible? And do you think I need to have all the same documents as last time?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to visit the immigration office in Bangkok on May 12th for a visa extension after staying in Thailand for about 5 months. They received a one-month extension previously and need to know if visiting a day earlier on May 11th is advisable and if they should bring the same documents. Comments indicate that it is generally acceptable to go early, but users caution against trusting verbal assurances from staff regarding overstay rules.
