I arrived today on a TR visa but seem to have a stamp that says I can stay 30 instead of 60 days.
Does that make sense?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported receiving a stamp that allows only a 30-day stay on their TR visa, which is typically valid for 60 days. They questioned the validity of the stamp and plan to seek clarification with assistance from a Thai friend who has visa experience.

A Thai friend (HR person who deals with visas etc) has volunteered to go back to the airport tomorrow with me. Will let you know how it goes.
- just go to information desk, and they will call someone inside Immigration to come out and sort things out. It's not a big deal, happens all the time. Next time, always check if yer admitted stamps r correct before walking out :)

No it does not make sense, so turn around and tell the same officer he made a mistake.

Thanks. Except I only noticed it after I had walked out of immigration.
Can I ask ...Chaengwattana or something?
(I am a UK national so would have been visa exempt for 30...whole point of getting TR visa was to get more.)

OK, thanks.
I had just naively assumed it wd be done as per the TR visa norm. Such a nuisance. Guess i will have to go to CW.
It happened to me several years ago, I went to Pattaya immigration when I realized and they told me that this time they would change it, but next time I'd have to go back to the airport.
