I'll go this week to transfer a visa exempt stamp to my new UK passport.

I have copies of former and new passport, but have these questions:

1) The Transfer-Stamp-to-New-Passport-Form requests TM6, is this now replaced by a copy of TDAC?

2) Is the correct building Chang Wattana - not IT Square Lak Si?

3) Will the new stamp honour the original date?

Hi all - with everything changing so rapidly I'm just hoping to get some clarity on a few things regarding 30 day extension:

I'm (UK passport) currently in Bangkok with my partner (Taiwan passport). We both have 60 day visa exempt stamps that run out 1st January. I have been in Thailand twice in 2025, once for two days in January and once for a week in April. She has only been here once for a week in April. All were visa exempt visits. We have never extended a stay or had a long stay here. However a little concerned about my previous two short visa exempt entries.

We want to extend our trip for 30 days to the end of January and have a couple of questions:

1-Is there anything other than passport + photocopy, TM30 and passport photos that we need to bring? Am I missing anything?

2 - For Bangkok is it still the Chaeng Watthana and can we still expect to be there all day? The last time I did a visa extension was before covid and I remember the queues being absurd.

Is Changwattana the only immigration officer in Bangkok? I’m looking to extend a 60 day visa free entry by another 30 days, are there any other offices I can go to?

In the past i used to exit enter on 60 day, do extension 30 days then another 60 days based on child. Now want to extend based on marriage, for bkk do i go to changwatthana or it square? For 60 extension? And which documents are needed

Hi all, I have was given great advice in the past from this group so I have another question. I am currently in Bangkok near Phrom Phong and want to extend my visa 30 days. I am having trouble finding a government immigration office somewhat near me. All I see are 3rd party offices and immigration lawyers. Can anyone please tell me where I can find a Government immigration office?

Hello guys, i am on my first ever Visa Exemption and want to extend it with 30 days. Is it at the same place at chian wattana as toursit visa extentions? Also my TM30 is from April this year, the one that i used to extend my first Tourist visa, is it going to work now too, since i am in the same condo or need recent one? my passport was stolen or I lost it. I have a temporary one tomorrow, and need to exit thailand for work asap. I have a F visa (non immigrant), which need to be transfered i guess befopre i leave the country (question 1).

question 2: I red several threads, but not sure of the final answer about where to go. IT Square or governement building (I am based in Bangkok).

I'm currently in Bangkok. The Visa exemption stamp on my passport says 17th November (60 days). I will then need to go to a local Immigration Office to extend for another 30 days if I want to stay longer. Is this correct?

Would you be able to provide suggestion on the best/fastest office to go too?

I’m currently staying in Chatuchak area.
