Hi, I have a question about e-visas. I am thinking of getting a tourist visa, I am from Canada but I will be in France . It says:
"Permanent Residency / Current Location
Your resident status in a country of which you are granted a residence visa to stay for more than six months."
if I'm not a resident of France, for example, does it mean that I cannot apply, even though it's all online? Thank you :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can apply for a Thai tourist e-visa while being a Canadian citizen currently residing in France, given that the e-visa application states a requirement for a residence status in the current country of over six months. It was suggested to check eligibility directly on the Thai e-visa website and to consider their status as a Canadian resident regardless of living abroad, as they still maintain Canadian citizenship.
Say Canada. That's where your from and have a passport for. Easier. Don't overthink. Unless you have notified CRA you are surrendering your Canadian tax status you are simply a resident of Canada even if living and working overseas. You have a Canadian bank account, credit card? Best keep your tax status as is.
if you open the website, in the middle is a box with the text "Am I eligible to apply on-line" click on that, fill in the questions and you get the answers,
