I do not see any reason why Immigration Officers will put aside and question a 5 year old about overstay stamps in the past.

To avoid being worried, avoid overstay stamps at all time.

I would advice, enter for the 2 weeks using the Visa Exempt Entry, talk to the schools and Immigration to see what is needed to get you the visa by conversion of Visa Exempt Entry if possible,

Then visit Germany, come back with new Visa Exempt Entry and do the conversions

OR

If not possible to conversions, entry for the 2 weeks using the Visa Exempt Entry, talk to the school, get all documents needed and apply in Germany for the correct visa's for all of you.

Choise is yours.

I would advice to do at your local Immigration Office as the re-entry permit is valid as long as your current permitted to stay, no rush and no need to be nervous.

Call your Embassy to speed up the process.

There is not much you can do without the passport.

Over 70 Offices nation wide. So what you did at a total different office does not help the OP by getting his report approved.

But thanks for the ideas how it works somewhere in Thailand if an Officer has time to look at the reports and approve or deny them.

Options are: travel to Phuket to apply before 24 May for the Extension of Stay based on being unable to travel.

OR

Visit a neighbor country as land borders are open

OR

Fly to another country as airports are open.

Call your local Immigation Office and ask.

They can approve the report.

Time to close before we get the procedures at each and every Immigration Office.

There are more than 70 nation wide, so it can be a very long list.

The lesson learned: Do NOT leave the immigration Office before you understand what is told and checked the dates of the new stamps.

If things are wrong, it can be easily corrected when there, otherwise it will be a return to the office and stand in line again. Good luck.

What you show has nothing to do with a 30 day Extension of Stay, which is a big stamp in your passport with dates and signatures.

This is a receipt of notification of your address.

Search your passport for the Extension of Stay permitted up to xx/xx/xx or go back to Immigration and apply again. Do not leave before you understand all.
