And you are in the same area and applied for the same Extension of Stay at the same Immigration Office?

I would be amazed that you extended your stay based on working in Thailand in 20 minutes and within 3 weeks after arrival.

You get the receipt from Immigration if the address registration is done in person. Hotels do use the on line system as it is more convenient and that requires a print screen.

Ask the reception of the hotel if they can provide a print screen.

You can do:

Between 15 days before due date and 7 days after in person at your local Immigration Office.

You can do at some offices 15 days before due date by old fashioned post, please check with your local Immigration Office.

Or do it On line after making an account between 15 days before and due date at:

The best part of the E-Visa website

You can apply for a new Extension of Stay, get the application not approved and 7 days to leave the country.

Show your ticket out at application and explain you like to avoid the overstay stamp and fines.

At the moment it is known that the Thai Elite Visa and the Thai Consulate in Penang Malaysia looking for overstays in the past en may refuse applications.

What others will do in the future is what we will learn in the future, advice is to always avoid to go on overstay as there are options enough to get a legal stay.
