TM47.

Hello,

I have been out of the country and came back on 2 August. I did my 90 day report online yesterday and it got rejected this morning.

1. Going through some of the posts on this topic, I read that if it is the first 90 Day Report after you have been back into the country, you need to go in person to Chaeng Wattana.

Can you confirm ?

2. Can't you make an appointment online for a TM47 report before you go? I went online to book an appointment, but the [Make an appointment] button is dead ( see attached screenshot)

Thank you for any feedback on the two points above.

Recently arrived in Thailand on a 90-day Non-immigrant "O" visa (married to Thai national, US passport ). My wife's employer here told me I need to have 400,000 baht in a Thai bank for at least 2 months in order to request visa extension of up to a year. I have seen others on this page refer to an 800,000 baht bank requirement. Is it 400k or 800k?

I am new at this.

Thanks.

How many times can you fly into Thailand on Visa exempt? I’ve flown in twice this year total of 17 days and I’ll be flying in again next week for 2 weeks.

Cheers

I recently got my Non-O 90 day visa (over 50) in Chiang Mai. I am coming up on 30 days or less so I want to apply for my first extension. I have two questions about bank requirements.

First, I need the bank certificate, which is valid for 7 days. Based on my visa application experience, that seems to be something I can get the morning of applying. But, I also need bank account records. The document requirements form says 1 year but as my first extension am I correct in thinking that 2 or 3 months is all I need? Or should I get an entire year to be safe?

Second, I think I have read on old threads here that the extended history printout might take up to a week (have to get from main office or something). Can anyone in Chiang Mai that use Bangkok Bank comment on how long it takes so I can plan accordingly?

I would prefer to apply next Tuesday or Wednesday so I am just trying to understand whether I can make one trip to the bank on the morning of applying or if I should head to the bank today or tomorrow to request the records.

I know I could just head over to the bank and ask in person, but if anyone here knows the answer, that would save me a trip and a wait in line. Thanks.

Hello, hypothetical question here.

I am in Thailand with a visa extension based on marriage. I am also working, and using my salary to cover the financial requirements of the visa extension each year.

If I were to leave the country and start working in another country, but come back to Thailand regularly for holidays, would I be able to keep extending my marriage visa every year using my foreign income to cover the financial requirements? Or is there some requirement that you stay in the country for a certain amount of time each year?

Hi, is that mandatory for returning to original country to apply for a work visa (Non-O, volunteer) type? Is it also possible to go to a third country to apply for that visa? If all required documents are provided, it should be fine, no?
