New to the site and from what I have seen I will probably get some great advice.

Looking at moving to Thailand to be with my girlfriend and looking to get married.

Im 53 currently working as a prison officer.

She owns her own home and runs her own business.

What is the best way for me to get out there? I would also like to work if possible.

Im Trying to understand what the best long term visa options are for my family. We are from the UK and Me, my husband and daughter are looking to move to thialand but im not finding any visas for families (only if your married to a thai) - which I am not.

My husband is a remote worker, and me im self employed and would like to work out in thialand if possible. My daughter is a baby so I assume she would be a dependent.

My job is complicated, but I do a mixture of holistic treatments which include Tuina, cupping & acupuncture & I also teach dance/hold movement workshops/events/retreats. Ideally I'd like to offer both, but I'm fine to be able to do one ~ just trying to understand my options.

Any help would be appreciated. Even if an agency I can speak with or a website that explains it all!

Hi. Newbie on this site, so please excuse me asking something that has probably been asked & answered many times before.

I am 69 YO, retired, UK passport holder & wanting to stay in Chiang Mai for 4 months, but understand visa's are changing. Can I get a 90 day tourist visa (I believe costs 60GBP) & get a 30 days extension in Thailand? Or would I need a 90 days retirement visa, which, I think needs more paperwork.

I have been to Chiang Mai many times, but never stayed more than 1 month.
