What was the immigration experience like upon landing in Bangkok with multiple visa stamps?

Dec 12, 2025
JUST LANDED BANGKOK BKK

We got our stamp. The red light came on and a man came and took our passports away to check our DTV was valid.

Then came back to us and gave us a stamp within 5 minutes

For anyone with a messy passport I have 12-13 months of tourist stamps and 2 border runs and 3 extensions in 2025.

Also an ED visa from 2022

All good and no questions or asked to show any documents

I am sure most of the complainers are those who do not correctly comply. All countries have rules and limits - try getting into US or UK!! Accept what you have to do - and don't abuse the system. Pay what you have to or go elsewhere rather then making it hard for regular travellers.

The joke may be on you my friend because if a hotel or police look they will call immigration and you will be kicked out and blacklisted.

And lose any bookings you have made.

It’s quite simple do the right thing and never anything to worry about

immigration 2-3 times a month). I see they are now cracking down on people gaming the loophole of border runs so they can stay here for hundreds of days a year as a "tourist", on-the-cheap, some working and not paying taxes, having 1 year condo leases, bank accounts and businesses, some prostitutes, some scammers, most just Cheap Charlies. Good....time to weed out these people.

This kind of person going in and out so many times, rigging the system, does Thailand really want this type of person? If they knew, would they accept?

Not sure rigging the system is a fair term. Coming to a country, spending a lot of money. I’m respectful I don’t drink or party, I travelled and found a country I was happy to stay and a country which made that very easy to do so. Thailand benefits from people living / travelling here not the other way around

There has been lots of negative information about arrival onDTV this week. I was sharing a positive experience for anyone afraid of a less than clean passport.

If you want to share your experiences I’m sure they would be helpful.

However it seems you’re more interested in spending your energy making pointless comments.

Good luck to you sir
