Does anyone know if you are running out of pages in your passport which your dtv visa is in, can you use another passport to enter or get the visa re issued into the new visa?
I won't to make a online appointment at CW immigration to transfer my non immigration o visa stamp to my new passport. What service in the menu should I choose.
What do you fill in at "place of issue"? Most passports or maybe all of them are using the term "authority" for the issuing authority. My German passport lists the city and the mayor as the issuing authority. I googled other passports online, and many don't even list the city name, just the issuing authority. So what did you enter here? Just the country where the passport was issued, or did you copy exactly what's listed under "Authority" in your passport?
Immigration Officer put the wrong stamp in my wife passport.
So what happened?
I did a visa run and I just arrived in phuket, I'm writting this from the van as I'm going home.
We're a family of four 3 Australian passport and wife Filippino, I told the immigration officer that we all have the DTV visa.
All Australian passports got 6 months but my wife got the wrong stamp and only 2 months, was waiting for the luggage when I found out about the stamp, so we all headed back and go to her and I told her, then she said something in thai like "I made a mistake" and then start to panic, the guy next to her was telling her something like "hurry up, your queue isn't moving, hurry" she was looking for something and made her desk a mess, then she finally found it, the void stamp, take out of the box and wasn't stamping the void in red so she grab a pen and put void in the stamp and put a new stamp.
Then she gave me the passport.
I ask her if the problem has been solved, she replied yes I will fix later pointing at the computer.
What should I do guys?
I have travelled alot and nothing like this never happened to me, I don't want my wife go to a detention center because the wrong stamp.
Has anyone ever had an issue with DTV requesting more documents? They asked for my passport with middle name and passport only have middle initial but the application requested my full name so wondering if my Driver License with middle name will work I submitted that but passport does not have middle name spelled out
Suvarnabhumi, connecting flight to Chiang Mai, took about 2 minutes, all he asked was if I have 2 nationalities, and I said yes and told him them (didnt ask to see my other passport) and stamped me in, no other questions, didnt ask about the incorrect name, and sent me straight through :)
My DTV visa was approved, but I noticed they have got my name wrong.
I have a double barrel first name, and submitted my name the same as my passport, however they put my name twice, as first and middle name, which I definitely didn't write
First Name- Rose-Marie
Middle Name- Marie Anne
I guess I wont be allowed to enter with the incorrect name, and have to apply again, but my visa was approved with the incorrect name, will I have issues reapplying, as I'll technically have 2 visas?
P.s I have attempted to call the embassy, they do not answer
Hello everyone, I know this question has been asked plenty of times but my situation doesn’t quite align with the similar ones found in search. I am applying in Ho Chi Minh as a remote worker. The question is the place of issue for the passport, my mexican passport issued in Shanghai has a remark about issuing state code as MEX and just a remark in the right bottom as SHANGHAI. Is it correct to select Shanghai as place of issue even if on the passport there are no exact remarks for this as “place of issue”? Thanks so much in advance
