I have just been advised by bitkub that my cryptocurrency holdings may be used for my annual retirement visa application. Has anyone used this facility successfully?
Hello, I'm sorry as I know this question is repetitive. But the only condition for DTV I could struggle with is the bank statement of 500,000 baht being held for a long period of time.
I was quite hoping to deposit it shortly before applying, but of course, many people say it has to be in there for 3-6 months.
But also many people say, it does not matter, some people even putting the 500k in right before applying.
I heard this is embassy specific. Can anyone give more details on what embassy I should go to?
Considering between HCMC (most convenient) or London (less convenient but I heard the most lenient on this)
My wife is a student at Bangkok International University. She has a non-immigrant ED Plus visa. From what I've read online, that should make me, her husband, eligible for a Non-Immigrant "O" (Dependent) visa. I asked the university but they weren't helpful and said I should check with Pathumthani Immigration Office to get details. I've called, but I only ever get Thai speakers, and emails and messages to them have remained unanswered. Can someone confirm if this is indeed possible, and perhaps kindly point me to where I can find the application steps and requirements?
Side question: I've scanned the boards here and see that proof of money in a bank account needs to STAY in the account for 2 months before it can be proof of financial stability, is that also true for this case? Thanks for any help.
Edit: People who have real documents but want to try by themselves. Please read this. I went to embassy and learnt 500k should be in account for 3 months or should be stable. Not ok with ending balance 500k even though it is your real money.
I have just got rejected mail in Hanoi. I believe I attached every documents. I have sent the clarification email and am waiting for the reply.

My question is should I resubmit in Hanoi or better apply in HCMC?
Question regarding the required documents for a non-O retirement extension: I've read in some comments that a one-year detailed statement printed from your bank is required. Is this only for the 65k monthly income method, or also needed for the 800k proof of funds?
Last year I provided the original and a copy of all passbook pages, and it was accepted. (800k method, CW office)
1: Im currently on an ED Visa, which runs out end of Juli. Does that influence. my application procedure?
2: My bank account does not have the required 500K baht for 3 months (only 2) does this matter?
3: I read this on a thai embassy website: **All supporting materials that are issued outside of Thailand and the US must be accompanied by certified English translations and notarized by an Embassy/Consulate or Ministry of Foreign Affairs only*

Can you apply for a marriage visa from outside the country, and if so, how do you obtain the necessary bank statement (etc.) without being there in person?
