Applying for a tourist visa from Uk for 60 days. And it’s asking for ‘Thai id of person inviting’ - it’s a tourist visa??

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the confusion regarding the requirement for a Thai ID of the person inviting when applying for a tourist visa (SETV) from the UK. Despite being a tourist visa, applicants have encountered a question requesting identification details of an inviting person, which seems unnecessary. Several users shared experiences of overcoming this by providing alternative documentation, such as hotel booking details, or by simply uploading a note stating 'Not Applicable' in response to the query about the ID. Others recommended ensuring proof of accommodation is submitted to satisfy the visa requirements.

When I got mine from London it still asked that question although I uploaded hotel details. I created a sheet with 'Not Applicable' on it and uploaded that as answer to questions that did not apply. Done that twice now with no problems.

Correct, if you stay in a private property the question is who invites you into that property. You can change the place where you stay in f.e. hotel or guesthouse

write on a piece of paper the words NOT APPLICABLE, take a photo of it, and upload it

That is not a required thing (but you have to put an image in the spot) for a tourist visa

You need to upload the hotel accommodation you booked for at least the first few days as answer to question 5.

Tod Daniels was refering to a Thai ID card which is not needed.

This is the question, so you upload:

Proof of accommodation in Thailand, booking hotel or guesthouse

OR

an invitation if you stay at private property.

no it’s not. It asks for ID of person inviting you. It doesn’t apply to tourists. You’ll probably delete this comment too. Your call.
