I wonder if you get a 1 year Non Immigrant ED Visa.

I would say you can only get the Single Entry Non Immirgant ED visa which gives you once a 90 day stay, but if you get the 1 year stay, please show us the stamps.

7. Period of Stay:

Holder of this type of visa is entitled to stay in Thailand for a maximum period of 90 days.

I tried to explain that the best way to know all about the requirements is to visit your local office, ask the hand out, read it, ask questions about not fully understand items and make an appointment when all clear.
Robert *******
Requirement are not exactly the same at different Immigration Offices, for example, 1 office want a hand drawn map to your place and another office accept a print out from Google.

As you ask in time, best advise is to visit your local Immigration Office and ask the hand out with requirements and make an appointment to apply for a 1 year Extension of Stay. You can not renew an used visa.

In the last 20 years the financial requirement for the Extension of Stay based on being married with a Thai National did not change, it was is and will be as Tod described, at least 2 months prior application date 400.000 Thb on a Thai bank account in your name.

Best option is to contact your closest Immigration Office and ask them for their rules, as they are the ones stamping your passport.

You can apply during the last 30 days of your stay for an 1 year Extension of Stay but you need a work permit to apply.

In your situation application can be done from 13 March onwards

Within 24 hours after arrival at the address, accoring the Thai law.

I guess you bought a Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa and got 90 days on entry as Admitted until 14 April 2023?

If that is the case you can leave but if you want this period to stay alive you need a re-entry permit and on return you will get the same date Admitted until 14 April 2023 stamped in your passport.

BUT if your Non Immigrant B visa is a 1 year valid mulitple entry visa, you can leave and get a new 90 day period when you enter again before the valid until date written on the visa.

AS you did not mention which type of Non Immigrant B you have make sure you understand OR show a picture of the visa without personal details to get again the correct advice in how to travel.
Robert *******
Be aware that you only get 1 year of stay IF you arrive before the valid until date 30 May 2023 and if you travel after that date you need a Re-Entry Permit to keep your stay alive and get the same Admitted Until date on re-entry.

I guess she is the owner or rentor of the place where you stay and she has to make the address registration. Just bring the form to register is not enough.

If you tell us what the country of origin of your passport is and what kind of visa you want to apply for during your visa run, we might share some thoughts about it.
