I am Italian citizen, 55yo, regularly employed in Germany with good income, can I apply for a DTV in order to have a visa which allow me to stay in Thailand for 120-150 days a year?
Is there any other requirement rather than to prove that I have a job with a sufficient income, in my home country?
My spouse and I (unmarried) are applying for the dtv next month. My spouse is the owner of the company we operate and I am the agent. I do not receive a “salary” as we primarily use one account. The company is real estate related and we have many contracts from previous clients through it. I do all of the admin. We will be applying in the US through the Washington embassy. I’m just trying to figure out what exactly we will need to submit and put together for next month so that we can be prepared. Does anyone have any advice/experience on how to make this a smooth process?
Hello I have a question and I hope you guys can enlighten me.
I’m currently in the process of getting my DTV (if approved) and I then would like to sponsor my wife and baby daughter. But I was told by many people that my 11 months old baby do not need a visa until she turns 2. I would just like to confirm whether that’s true, because if that’s the case I would only need to get my wife a dependent visa and I guess it’ll make the process even much easier. Thank you for the help.
If I have a money market account with a debit card and a checkbook does anyone know if this can count as money that needs to be shown as available in the bank for the DTV?
I am a freelancer holding worcation DTV, currently staying in Chiang Mai. I am coming up to my first 180-day and have already bought a round-trip ticket (CNX- a city in Vietnam- CNX). I am staying in Vietnam for 3 days.
What issues should I expect at CNX immigration when I return? Thank you in advance.
Hello everyone, just a quick question please. I am 20 and wish to apply in Italy.
I would like to apply for DTV Soft Power (Muay Thai) but I noticed that many embassies are starting to ask for proof of income / how you will support yourself in Thailand.
I have a work in my home country, but it’s not remote so clearly if I choose to go to Thailand for 6 months on DTV I won’t be able to continue that work.
However, I have 800-900K baht in my bank account (maybe 1 million at the day of application) and honestly my answer to “how you’ll support yourself” would be savings at this point.
Is that okay? Can I get accepted saying savings in my cover letter? Do you have any tips to maximise the chances of getting the visa?
i have the bank balance but no income, can i still get the dtv for cooking/muay thai etc? what is the simplest/cheapest one and is there minimum requirements for classes you have to attend?
