Heading back home in a couple of weeks. I plan to apply for the DTV visa while I’m there.
Is there anything I should take care of now while I’m still in Thailand documents, paperwork, or parts of the process or can everything be handled from the U.S.?
Also, for showing income: I’m paid two ways from the same company, which I’m part owner of. First, I receive a regular monthly salary. Second, I receive monthly distributions that vary a lot. Both are well above the required amount, the salary alone already meets the requirement.
Should I avoid mentioning the distributions to prevent confusion, or is it better to show the higher total income even if the salary alone qualifies?
I live in Bangkok and need a residency certificate.
Currently on Non-O 90day and have a TM30.
Seeing a lot of contradicting information online about the requirements and how to get one. If someone could set the record straight for me that would be much appreciated!

Is this correct? He's currently in Nong Kae with his Thai partner and son. They're not married yet. But I'm asking on his behalf as he's got no idea what he needs to do next. Thank you. 🙏
I want to visit Thailand for 3-4 months. I don't have 800,000 baht in the bank! What is the best visa/visa renewal combination for me as a UK citizen? I am happy to leave for a neighbouring country and return.
Just a quick question... I know that to get a retirement visa, you need a deposit of 800,000 baht in a Thai bank. Banks offer different types of accounts: current, savings, and fixed deposits. Fixed deposits offer better interest rates. Are any of the three types of accounts accepted for this visa? Thanks for every comments
