Applying from Australia online. I got a request for more information. " Show employment contract". I actually own the business and am working remote. I submitted my portfolio ( just a bio of what I do), but they are still asking for more information.

Any ideas what they want?

LF recommendations / suggestions:

I am married to a Thai citizen. I have a 7 year old daughter from previous failed relationship who is currently residing in the PH.

Currently I am in Thailand under Non-Immigrant O visa and planning to go back to Philippine and bring my kid to Thailand for good.

Can you suggest to me what visa should I use aside from the Student visa? (the student visa was recommended by the Royal Thai Embassy)

>> I have a problem with student visa. I cannot get the requirements from the Sarasas school because the pre-requirement is that my kid should be able to write and read in Thai language. Therefore, I want to bring her first to Thailand and learn everything once she arrives here and enroll her to school once she is capable to read and write in Thai.

If I find a job before I go back to PH and get a working visa, would that help and can I apply for my kid the non-immigrant dependent O visa?

Anyone? Please enlighten me. I feel frustrated. Thus, inter-country adoptation will take 4 years of processing also 😭 based from google.

I got my DTV 5 years yeaaaah💥💥💥

Question: do you have to report to immigration? and if so, do you need to show TM30?

Im staying in different hotels, and find it difficult to get a TM30 for every one of those hotels, it's a hassle. If you stay for just 1 night, do you need a tm30?

Not going to name anyone but out of curiosity I asked agent for a quote for DTV. Crazy prices.

Do it yourself - it is not that hard. Ask for advice on here - it is free

Hi,

I just wanted to clarify something with people that already did the DTV.

Is the total cost of the VISA for 5 years (Excluding extensions) 10,000 bath?

Is any other type of VISA like ED mandatory?

I've contacted multiple agencies, and they all try to push their language / cooking / course on top of it.

So again, is another type of VISA like ED mandatory or is enough to pay the DTV and have all the requirements (income/savings/etc.).?

Thanks!

Don’t forget to do your Tm30 when you arrive if your landlord or hotel has not done it for you.

And you will need to do 90 day reports at your local immigration.

My Sisaket immigration office was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Hey,

I applied for a DTV online (chose Frankfurt, Germany as location.)

I have my own company (US LLC) through which I do business.

First, they asked for confirmation that I'm employed by the company and can work remotely even though I already sent this - so I wrote another certificate and sent it again.

Now, they're asking for a working contract between my and my bank???

My assumption is that they either:

* Got something mixed up and need clarification which is the bank and which is my company

* Don't understand that this is my company and technically I don't even need a contract or anything, I can of course work from wherever I want (I sent them tons of documentation of ownership, work history, invoices, remote permission etc.)

I think it's best to send them an email and clear up the situation.

Or am I missing something/doing something wrong?

Any advice is much appreciated, thank you!

As eventually all 94 Thai Embassies/Consulates around the world will be using the Thai e-Visa for accepting visa applications and issuing Thai e-Visa's, some of the Frequently Asked Questions are succinctly answered by the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia who started with Thai e-Visa today (26 November 2024):

1.) you have to physically be in the country of where the Thai Embassy/Consulate is located to apply for a Thai e-Visa;

2.) you will not be making any appointments to visit any Thai Embassy/Consulate who issue Thai e-Visa;

3.) it's just best to physically print out the PDF of your Thai e-Visa and have it with your passport (yes, many have reported that they just showed the image of the Thai e-Visa PDF on their mobile cell phone, or the Thai e-Visa should be in Thai immigration's database system, etc. etc.): just print out the Thai e-Visa PDF!

4.) if there is an error, typo, incorrect spelling, etc., then the Thai e-Visa application can be rejected and no correction will most likely be done to rectify and No Refund!

5.) Thai e-Visa processing times are longer than previously in-person visa applications issuing Thai visa stickers....that may shorten in the future, but then again, it may not....
