TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users in the discussion indicate that having a clean criminal record certificate is typically necessary for most Thai visas, including the DTV. Failure to provide this certificate can result in visa rejection, and while some commented on cases where individuals with criminal records had been processed, the general consensus is that it is best to obtain the certificate to avoid complications during the application process.
There’s a difference between SPENT and NON SPENT records!!!

Yes, having a clean criminal record certificate is usually mandatory for most Thai visas like the DTV. If you don’t have one or it’s not clear, it can lead to rejection. It’s best to get it sorted properly before applying to avoid any issues.

Anonymous participant 203 I definitely was not asked to provide any information about a criminal record. I do not think this is typically required for DTV.
