Following up on my previous post regarding DTV visa application- I am on week 4 of waiting.

They have responded and asked to provide proof of funds once again, as cert. of deposit or bank statement for the past 3 months. I've supplied them twice with brokerage statements , which show the required amount for the required period of time.

Has anyone else showed brokerage statements? Were they accepted?

Do I maybe need to provide a letter from the brokerage confirming I have liquid assets?

Also, if anyone is self-employed and had to provide an employment contract: did you specifically state that all of the work is remote?

I've submitted a certificate of employment (for my own company) and they require me to re-submit with statement of remote work.

I want to make sure I do it correctly this time, would be super helpful to hear from someone who is in the same position and had been accepted.

Thank you kindly!

Is there any issues with getting a Elite Visa (or Privilege Visa or whatever they want to call it this week) after having held and used a DTV Visa? I ask because I read people were refused Elite Visas after having Education Visas and some other types of Visas, and you never know if or when they might flip-flop on the DTV visa.

Hello! I have entered through land border twice this year. If I go to Savannakhet and get a tourist visa, can I come back through land? Or I need to arrive in Thailand by air? Thanks!

Hello,

My online application for the 90 days report has been rejected because I exceeded the 90 days. The reply mail states that I should go to the Immigration office immediately (I'm assuming to pay the fine).

My question here is, do I need to go to the immigration office right now? Or can I just go when going to extend my marriage visa this September?

Thanks

I just received my 'Under Consideration' (UC) stamp in anticipation of receiving my 1-year extension on my Non-Immigrant O (spousal) visa.

My previous 90-day visa expires on the 17th April. I have a multiple re-entry permit already for this visa. My UC stamp asks me to return to (hopefully) get the extension on the 2nd May.

I need to travel out of Thailand twice in the next 30 days. Once from the 4th to the 6th April and again from the 14th to the 22nd April (these trips are essential).

Do I need a new re-entry permit for these two trips or does my existing re-entry permit cover me for the first? Does it even cover me for the second?

UPDATE: I went to Bluetree today for a fourth opinion. I went to great lengths to explain my question clearly but the short version is the Immigration Agent I spoke to told me I would not need a new re-entry permit until the date on my old one expired, then I should get a single re-entry permit for my second trip.

As I was about to leave the boss of the office shouted out 'Mai dai'. He then dived in and explained the first immigration agent was wrong, and as soon as I get the UC stamp my previous visa and its re-entry permit is cancelled so I need two new single re-entry permits or one multiple re-entry permit to travel during the UC period.

My conclusion is that no one, including immigration has a crystal clear picture of what I should do, but the safest option is to treat the UC stamp as a separate visa and get new re-entry stamps as required. Better too many than too few. Hope this helps people.

Thanks for those who provided useful input.

Hey everyone!

Does anyone know if Bkk immigration do the 14 days under consideration stamp on a vivid extension, or if you get your visa right away.

Hi, I've just applied for my first COVID extension (my visa expires 28 of march). Eventually they have given me a stamp to come back on 12 april because my application is under consideration. I've applied at Ranong immigration office. Does this mean that I might need to leave the country that day? I have no idea why they want to consider my application for 2 weeks. Anyone else experiences with this?

Hi. I entered Thailand on January 2020 on a multi entry tourist visa. I have been using the covid extensions since then. Does anyone know if I am still eligible for the next covid extension or should I plan on having to leave? I have a usa passport. Thanks šŸ™

Hello all,

90 day reporting: If I'm staying at a friend's (not renting) in BKK does the friend have to do a TM 30?

Also, I used the online reporting system and it's been pending for a week... It's now due tomorrow. Any ideas?

I've used the online system previously and it was always returned within the same day. Even errors on my part were reported, corrected, and rechecked within a few hours.

Caveats...I did put in a new BKK address this time, and this was the first time using the "new" online reporting system that apparently launched recently.

I've tried calling immigration and I've been on hold for nearly an hour...
