I didn't say married to- I said marriage visa. Immigration has come to my house and we've posed for photos together. It's pretty reasonable to wonder if this supersedes the TM30 system.

well separately, we are in the process of trying for a tourist visa- but for the purpose of tourism not watching my aunt watch QVC. I was unaware being married increased your SS. I am not just passively not interested in returning, but actively opposed... I'm not opposed to gaming the system, but even pretending is distasteful

we aren't interested in permanent residence and the spouse visa takes quite a while and I don't know if aunt will have that long. Still hoping aunt can come spend her last chapters here, but starting to look at contingencies.

because they are supposed to? It's a stupid system. Like, the host is supposed to do it- and can get in trouble for not doing it- but YOU are not responsible and will 100% have trouble if the other person doesn't do it. It's lame.
