Okay another one... renting an onward ticket... The website gives you the option of 24-48 hours, but with them rejecting me over and over for whatever nonsense and each iteration takes at least a day- it will almost certainly expire before I am approved. What to do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the challenges faced when applying for a tourist visa to Thailand, specifically regarding the requirement for an onward ticket. The original poster is experiencing repeated rejections for their ticket reservation and is concerned about expiration issues. Comments suggest various solutions, including purchasing a real onward ticket at a low cost, using services like Best Onward Ticket for longer reservation periods, and even considering a one-way flight to nearby destinations like Vietnam or Kuala Lumpur. Additionally, there are clarifications about the nature of the tourist visa and the process for extending one's stay in Thailand.
Isn't the issue with all those onward ticket sites that they don't generate a PAID ticket reservation with an e-ticket number? All they generate is an unpaid reservation that gives a PNR code but you could do that yourself by using any airline that offers a hold your price service for a few days.
get a "real" Ticket. One-way Hat Yai to Kuala Lumpur by Air Asia is a REAL ticket and cost somewhat like 32 US Dollar. BEWARE: "onwardtickets" are going to be scrapped soon
the evisa site. Last time I used it it took over 10 tries. Maybe reject isn't the right word- but they kick it back and ask for other stuff. It's obnoxious too because like I submitted all the docs through the website for the application and then they email me and ask for them all again. Then I send and they kick back again asking for OTHER docs...
