Definitely an "everything else" item. Maybe save purely speculative answers, wondering if anyone has actually dealt with a problem like this. Bought a motorbike in Patong from a dealership. There was a literal year of drama and hassle to get the green book (just them not having their shit together and then my situation turned complicated and they still did not have shit together) and the green book finally arrived and my name is misspelled.
I guess I'll start with contacting them, but I live on the opposite side of the country now and it was a painful year trying to get them to deal with it the first time... Next maybe go into the transpo office here and beg for mercy?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user experienced a lengthy and complicated process obtaining a green book for their motorbike purchased in Patong, only to find that their name is misspelled on it. They plan to first contact the dealership but are also considering visiting the local transportation office for assistance, despite living far away. Comments suggest alternatives like selling the bike or addressing the issue at the Department of Land Transport.
Everything is easy in Thailand just cost a couple bucks. Green books usually take one week at dealership but can do yourself in one day. You should be able to fix your problem at Department of Land Transport.
