TLDR : Answer Summary
When transferring funds to Thailand for income verification purposes, the type of transfer method used can significantly impact how it registers on your bank statements. For instance, using WISE for transfers can sometimes categorize them as domestic instead of international, depending on the bank and the chosen reason for the transfer, such as selecting 'long-term visa.' Proper selection and communication with the bank are crucial to ensure that the transfers appear as required by Thai immigration.

Just check funds for long term stay

Transfers to Bangkok Bank from uk using the reason long term stay in Thailand show as international transfer as required by immigration. I also contacted Wise and had my account tagged. I've not had a problem since.

If you did not check the "for long term visa" box they will not be listed as international transfers on your Thai bank statement that immigration accepts for verification, unless you are from one of the few countries whose embassy still issues income verification letters. Most don't

Wise transfers can register as a domestic transfer - depending on your bank and the reason you choose for the transfer.

If so you’d need to contact the initial bank to ask for proof that it was indeed an FET.
