And since I am complaining about travel nonsense... I paid 24usd to have a CHECK bag. Weight limit 15kg apparently. I am 5 kilo over... The fee is 1700 baht. Vietjet is like a Bangkok taxi driver who refuses to use the meter.

Edit: check bag and 15kg limit. I don't know how I made BOTH of those errors. I am going to blame vietjet.

Hello all,

I stayed with with my Tourist Visa Multiple Entry in Thailand from mid January 2024 until now (about 6 months).

During this stay, I traveled two times out of Thailand for a few days each time to extend my visa.

In summary I entered Thailand 3 times this year via airport and using always the same METV! (No visa runs or visa exemptions so far)

I plan now to leave Thailand for 3 month and would like to re-enter after probably with the new visa exemption of 60 days in November 2024.

My question is now, based on your knowledge and experience if that could be a problem at immigration since I already stayed about 180 days this year.

For sure I will have the three proofs with me than.

Looking forward your feedback and recommendations, thanks!

Family of 6 with 4 kids. Next week we leave Thailand after 7 months. All of us entered on 30 day tourist visa. Then myself and the wife went onto 6 month ED visa. All 4 kids have overstayed past the first 30 days. All 4 kids are under 14yrs old.

Is there any advice on what to say as we pass through airport immigration knowing our kids have overstayed? Or should we just say nothing?

Will there be any problems coming back to Thailand with the kids having overstay stamps in their passports?

Hi! I have a question, for a relative, about yellow fever certificate.

If someone over 70 years old cannot be vaccinated against yellow fever due to it is a risk for his health, so he is exempt to do it, and have a certificate of it, Can this person enter as a tourist to Thailand? Does he need to show any extra document or travel with any kind of special medical insurance or something similar?

Thank you very much in advance. Have a nice day.

Perhaps the answers are self-evident, but I will ask anyway. My Thai wife and I are flying back to our 6 mos. home in Canada at the end of this month. She is a Canadian Resident with a Thai Passport which expires in November 2023. We are flying back to Udon via Bkk in early October, 2023. My questions are:

(i) We normally fly from Vancouver to Bkk transiting thru Tokyo (AC and Thai Air). Time in Tokyo is typically 2-4 hours max. Will she have a problem (Airlines or Immigration) because her passport will expire in November?

(ii) We have kicked around the idea of flying Vancouver to Singapore and then taking the train from Singapore to Thailand. With her Thai Passport expiring in November, I assume this is a non-starter?

(Iii) I have contacted the Thai Consulate in Vancouver and we may be able to renew her passport there and will do so if we can.

Thanks everyone for your time and thoughts.

Hi,

I plan to go to Thailand in April. I just want to check that visitors do not need....

1) To show proof that they are vaccinated

2) Take a covid test

3) Need health insurance

Thanks for your information.

Hello,

I did a visa run to Laos on December 20th.

The officer told me that I could not do another visa run by land this year.

Does this only count for 2022?

Or can I do it again next January?

Thanks
