TLDR : Answer Summary
The limited availability of domestic flights from Bangkok late at night and early morning can be attributed to several factors including noise regulations, low demand for flights during those hours, and operational considerations of airports and airline schedules. Many airports in Thailand do not operate during late night/early morning hours due to noise restrictions, and airlines typically plan flights according to demand, which diminishes during these times. Additionally, some airports may lack facilities for night operations. On the other hand, there are early morning flights available to popular destinations.

Good question!! I think they like tourists to support the local hotels and businesses around the airport. I find restibg after a 9 hour flight in Bangkok very relaxing prior to heading to my home province the next day. Out bound Internationals its easier to fly the day before the long haul flight as often they leave early morning

People living under the flight paths have the right to sleep.

Because it's easier and/or more profitable to keep the planes in Bangkok overnight, ready for the early morning flights out.

It's noise regulations... some cities simply shut down their airport at night , and some allows only certain runway to be used.

Probably no night landing facility at some domestic airports.
Brandon ************
Many of the airports in the country are not open at those hours.

Other than that, the market dictates the flight times. If there's not enough demand to fill planes at those hours, they will not fly during those hours and will fly at the hours that the market can fill them.
