Just an update, last time it was a real hassle and so I was mentally prepared for being a hostage for hours... I was in and out with my documents in 15 minutes. Affidavits and certified passport copy.

Fair enough. Property is out in Esan- near Roi Et. Just looking for a couple of data points so I can start guesstimating. I don't know if it is a 20k or 5mil type.of thing (and yes I know you can spend as much as you want- just modest domestic cement swimming hole)
