Regarding Thai women getting tourist visas to visit USA... I think I've got a pretty good grip on the nature of the challenge and as good a plan as reasonable to move the odds in our favour. If we make it through do you think it is easier a second time? Basically, how focused should we be on trying to get everything into the first trip?

Interested in getting my Thai wife a tourist visa for the UK and have a few questions about the process. Firstly VSF Global offers assistance with filling out the form but one needs to fill out the form before making an appointment to sign up for the service (Catch-22 šŸ™‚ ). Likely she must just fill out best she can and they edit it before submitting. Iā€™m wondering about other requirements as Iā€™d like to get the necessary documents and information beforehand such as what evidence to supply for ā€œfamily permission to be in the UKā€ (my Aunt weā€™re visiting has lived there for 82 yrs)? Any help appreciate and feel free to pm me if youā€™d prefer.

Hi, Arrived 1st September on 90 day O to visit Thai family. For various reasons related to proving income decided to settle today for 60 day extension, visit Thai family. When I go back in January for 1 year extension will the stay given be 31st August 2021, or 12 months from today, 22 November 2021.

And secondly, when requested 90 day report form, suprised to be told that I did not need to report as I have just been given extension.? This is obviously different from normal annual extension, as that does not reset your 90 days?

Regarding: 40,000 baht on hand when arriving for family

Context: We were in Thailand for about 6 months, did two tourist visas with extensions. We left this month to Indonesia but are planning to come back next month to meet my in laws in Phuket. We will be flying through DM.

Dilemma: It's tough getting cash out here in Bali as the ATM limits are quite low($150 daily limit) compared to what my American Bank limits are allotting me($1000Daily). This is making it difficult for us to have the $1200 USD(40k baht) on hand when we arrive in a couple weeks, even though there's plenty in the bank.

Question: Do you think they'll ask us for proof of funds when we arrive considering our previous travels to Thailand and having a month-long interim in another country? If I can avoid having to try taking out cash every single day while incurring ATM fees, that'd be great.

Disclaimer: I do understand that there's no real way of knowing, as immigration can ask at any time regardless of your previous travel or circumstance. I am aware of the risk involved by not having the funds, but I was looking for some vindication or peace of mind(although I know this page doesn't really give that too much lol) from others who might have had success with similar travel as ours.

Cheers
