Vietnam does offer 1 year tourist visas to Americans.

Rules say from results, depends on the airlines though. They come back quick enough now you should be able to get it from taken time no problem.

You should get a tourist visa then first so you have more time. A marriage visa requires you to have 400k baht in a Thai bank account for 60 days.

As of a few weeks ago the embassies in Pakistan and Indian were not issuing visas and entry from the two countries were prohibited due to the "covid strain." I don't believe that's changed yet unfortunately.

I've seen some drive up and walk in covid testing sites in Bangkok, I have a friend that just flew out yesterday I can ask.

Start at your embassies website. You'll need to submit an application online. once it's conditionally approved you mail your passport and documents to the embassy.

After you get your passport back, you need to apply for a certificate of entry online. You'll need health insurance, quarantine hotel booked, and flight booked.
