Update: emirates move my flight to the 2 of April , my original flight is on 31 of march, flying from Bkk to Lca, hopefully I can back home before my visa expired
I messed up booked my flight and then realize it's 93 days , I just a tourist, so got no visa, was intending to extend for another 30 days after 60 days but it's over the max time , so will I have to show another flight that I am leaving Thailand like to Vietnam or something??
Hey long time travellers... Sorry if this is a dumb question, but Asia is weird sometimes.
I've got a long layover coming up in bkk. It is just from my arrival until my commuter flight home to the north. In the states I know I can just go to the counter and ask for a seat on an earlier flight (these are seldom full). Does that concept exist in Thailand?
If i get my ME TR visa approved and after that i change my flight but in time my Visa is still valid or i need make another one ? I mean if the visa is approved is the visa coupled whit the flight ?
My passport got wet and damaged here in Bangkok, Thailand. The embassy said that they can issue me an emergency passport to go back home and renew my passport instead of issuing me a temporary passport to travel further. But, i already have a flight ticket booked to Malaysia. I've already tried contacting AirAsia airlines but it's difficult to reach them and contact with them person to person. So, can i contact Malaysian embassy and check with them if they can help? I also have a soft copy of my passport's bio page before it got damaged.
A word to regular travelers to Thailand. I recently returned from Thailand using Finnair. They changed the return flight from a 2 hour layover to 21 hours. Could not change the flight on their crap application. When phoned Bangkok office they wanted 400 pounds to change flights even though I had booked a changeable ticket. Had to book a hotel in Finland. I've tried and tried to complain but they have blocked their complaints form! Flew with them before covid and was fine. What's happened Finnair? Food was rubbish and scarce. You had to pay for anything on the flight from helsinki. I personally will never fly this airline again.
Has anyone changed flight dates on Thai airways Bkk-Lhr (return flight) I have a flexi tkt booked for 22/2/23 and have priced up a tkt date change on 3 seperate dates, prices for the 3 date changes vary from£260 to £22.30 and .30p, so I have 3 options, if I changed dates and paid the £22.30 price and I wanted to change that date for a 3rd time, would I be stung for a non flex fare change, or in a nutshell, does flexi tkt allow more than 1 flight date change ?
