What are the new rules regarding the use of Thaipass within the 72-hour window before flight?
Updated clarification on ThaiPass 72 window. You can use your Thaipass up to 72 hours AFTER your listed flight. You cannot change the date of your flight BEFORE your Thaipass has been issued for.
Why? probably just to make people's lives more difficult, but that's what the MOH clarified today and someone was just denied boarding on a connecting flight in DBX because of it.

Answer summary
The recent clarification on the Thai Pass stipulates that it can be used within 72 hours after the listed flight time. However, travelers cannot change their flight dates before obtaining their Thaipass. Confusion arose as some travelers faced issues at boarding due to misunderstanding these rules, particularly about entry dates and flight changes. Discussions in the comments explore further questions about how these timeframes function and what to do if flight schedules change.

I read earlier that *any* changes to a flight will invalidate a Thailand Pass. Is this not accurate then?
My flight was changed by the airline and I arrive the following day (but only around an hour later). Do I have to worry about not being allowed entry as a result of the new updates or should be fine?

”And for those approved to enter, with a Thailand Pass QR code, they will not be able to change their flight or their Thailand Pass, which is required to enter the country, or it will become invalid.”

So how exactly does the 72 hours work?
For example, if you were initially supposed to fly into Thailand on Jan. 1st at 1pm, you would be permitted to enter any day / anytime before 11:59 pm on Jan. 4th?

They rejected one Indian lady for being six hours early. Didn't even give her the option of waiting. I suspect another factor was in play...
