TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses a way that some foreigners have managed to bypass the stringent Certificate of Entry (COE) and the 200 foreigners per day restriction on entry to Thailand. It highlights the recent exemption for visitors arriving by private jet, which allows them to enter the country more easily. The discussion also touches on the implications of such exemptions, the cost of private jet travel, and some controversies surrounding individuals seeking entry under these conditions.

Cameron used to lease and run the Pride Gay Resort in Phuket but one day he packed up and left without paying the property owner and the employees that had left other jobs to come to him (since he made them all these promises) and they worked their ass off for him......

If you're right, I wonder if there's an arrest warrant out for him. He might regret busting a gut to get back to Thailand

I don’t know about that. But if Ur in Patong.... U can ask around. Maybe check his old posts on Facebook. Unless he deleted them or created a new profile. He is a very self centered, egotistical person.... but otherwise he is a nice guy...lol

they mentioned this on bloomberg. visitors arriving by private jet are one of the categories that qualify for special exemption.

the numbers are so tiny it doesn't really matter but if one of them ends up testing positive (like the egyptian soldier on a "mission") it could be a bit of a scandal.

which is why I loved this story so much. I wish Thailand acted similarly 😞

This totally tells us in all seriousness to create private jet FB groups. What an astounding good new business idea. Pack em in to max cargo capacity. I wonder if can rent larger planes. Not just a jet. This McDonalds coffee is giving me ideas

generally in a group of say 6 people they aren't as bad as u think. There was one in Aussie offering flights melb to Syd for $800pp with a load of 6.. not bad considering say a wedding in syd and remove all the time delays of normal transport and a hotel vs up and back in a day on the jet
