TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around recent changes to Thailand's entry requirements and visa regulations as they pertain to COVID-19. Comments reflect a mix of relief over the removal of certain testing requirements and ongoing questions about health insurance obligations and quarantine measures. Participants clarify that while specific visas like Non-O may have different insurance requirements, all entrants still need proof of health insurance relating to COVID-19. There is also debate on the continued necessity of masks and the overall efficacy of current public health policies.

I can link more universities if you like. But you are a modern human. Covid is in your lungs. Common sense should tell you that the only way for it to spread is via your bodily fluids as its not an airborne virus. Even human during the black plague that killed

Sweden didn't lock down completely but they adopted 90% of reccomend guidelines. Masks were mandatory by law. Every one following a 100% mask guideline is extremly effective. So I'm glad you brought up sweden to validate my point about masks

America Brazil. Vs Thailand and Vietnam. I can link studies from the CDC WHO, STANFORD UNIVERSITY OXFORD UNIVERSITY that explain the effective protection percentages. I mean covid uses bodily fluids to spread. When you breath talk and cough. It's not rocket science to know putting a cloth infront of your mouth mitigates the spread of bodily fluid. But atleast u seem to want to learn. Unlike the last idiot I talked to who kept saying covid 19 is airborne and dosent require bodily fluids to spread.

I am on a non O (retirement) extension issued in country, which does not, when issued, have the Covid insurance requirements of an OA visa. Is proof of insurance required if re entering Thailand on this visa? I’m fully vaccinated, including booster.

Non-OA an the STV are the only visas that require health insurance, that's different than Covid insurance. Everyone entering Thailand requires Covid health insurance, reguardless of their visa.

I don't see a choice here, only medical bullying. Vaccinated ppl carry the virus just the same as unvaccinated ppl. What's the medical reason for dropping the tests for vaccinated and still quarantining the unvaccinated? What's the medical sense here? Or is this not about a virus?...
