Going to stay at same hotel in Pattaya I stayed for over 3 months left March .I
kept receipts.
Will pay for one month and will be staying there first 3 months.
I will get copy of TM 30.
Will this be enough to get me a residence permit from the immigration office in Jomtien ?
I have been there before to get a 30 day extension.
Do I just join the queue to try to get residence permit or is there a separate section at the immigration centre who deal with this matter? Any advice appreciated.
DTV application for remote work for Indian citizen:
Applied on 18th April via the Chennai Embassy in India (Online)
Docs submitted:
1. 6month payslip
2. bank statement of last 6month with 500k baht (half of it was transferred into my bank the same day, so the past 6 months balance maintenance was not required)
3. Work contract stating im a remote employee
4. Drivers license showing im a resident of my state
Paid the fee on the 22nd, and the same day i was requested for additional docs that showed accommodation in thailand.
Added airbnb booking for 1 month for the additional doc the same day and the docs got reviewed on the same day.
Flew into DMK from Jakarta today. It was my first entry on DTV. Presented DTV pdf printout with passport at the immigration and was let through without any questions.
I sent my application to the Thai Embassy in Washington DC this past weekend, and I am waiting for approval. I'm considering booking a flight from America to Thailand for this coming weekend. I assume that the application won't be decided by the time I arrive in Bangkok. I will use the "entry on arrival" 60 day. The flight will be booked as a roundtrip with a return in June. If my DTV is approved after I arrive should I go to emigration or can I wait until I leave? Any issues?
Hi I need to do my first 90 day report in person and I am in Bangkok . I am on a non o (retirement) visa . Does anyone know if an agent can do this ? And if so recommend one ? I know after this i can do it online. Thanks in advance for any advice
looking through the piles of paperwork you need now to get a visa a letter from the police about your criminal record has just appeared, went to the police station and asked reception and she said don't know anything about that, more hurdles the climb, lol
