What are the rules against advertising and soliciting services in this expat group?

Group, remember there is NO advertising in here. That includes soliciting members (sending messages, DMs, PMs, SMS, whatever) with the name of 'a friend' who knows someone that can somehow solve your visa troubles, even though no one else can.

If someone sends you one of these PM's trying to sell or solicit service, PLEASE send me or Stuart a screen shot so we can remove them from the group. That is how we protect not only ourselves, but everyone else in the community from scams.

Thanks!

OK I agree

But many members ask for specific questions

How can you refer to professional in that kind of business without referring to hia page without making "publicity"

I don't know what you're trying to say. If someone specifically asks for an agent or agency recommendation, you may refer them or offer services. But simply asking a visa related question does not mean someone is looking for an agent.
