What is the cost of this compared to just bying vaccines? I guess in this case the money goes to local "pockets"....
Thailand had 2019 a total of 158,300 hospital beds. Are tese are all full, or the private hospitals are all empty? I've heard private hospitals dont' take (covid) patients.

If someone would ever decided to write a movie script where the whole planet and especially governments underwent some kind of distant mental impairment by some alien forces or similar (underworld entities? make your pick), and slowly but steadily went completely mad, they would hardly come up with a better scenario than the one which is going on right now.
