What are the current restrictions on exporting face masks from Thailand?

Can someone clear this for me. They say wearing a mask doesn't help. But if you a virus carrier you should wear it to stop spreading. Or when you take care of I virus carrier. So why wouldn't I wear one????

I wonder if they will stop people posting masks through the postal service. A girl I was studying with last month sent 30 boxes of masks back to her family in Hong Kong. I doubt she was the only person to be doing this

Bit late now. I saw Chinese checking into flights at BKK with trolleys piled high with boxes of masks as early as December, and the Thai government has been encouraging huge wastage of masks by healthy people over the last 2 months, in contradiction to advice from the WHO. Now stocks are running low for people who really need them (for reasons completely unrelated to the hysteria around covid19).

there goes my second hand mask export business :(
