Anyone transit through Riyadh (RUH) Airport before? Do they check your luggage all the way through or do you have to collect it and re-check it like in Wuhan?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about luggage handling when transiting through Riyadh Airport, specifically whether bags are checked through to the final destination or if they need to be collected and re-checked. A commenter shared their experience, stating that they have always had their bags checked all the way through when transiting, although this was when they came from another city within Saudi Arabia. They also hinted at the challenges of Saudi airports, suggesting that they would prefer to avoid them.

I have but I originated in a different city in Saudi, not outside the country. Bags were always checked all the way through.
If you haven’t transited a Saudi airport before you’re in for a real treat Garrett 😂. I spent 3.5 years there and now I would gladly pay double to avoid them and their airlines.
Lol thanks man, that cheered me up. The more I read the more I'm second guessing it. Apparently you need a transit visa and health insurance for layovers longer than 12 hours too.
