You can find people to teach.. If teaching is what you want to do. If making a living is what you want to do, you'll have to do it through an agent. I doubt you will like teaching via agent.

It confusing. I have been there 2 weeks early and they tell me come back the last day.

I think getting the overstay is probably better than working with the Pataya immigration. If 'incentives' is what they wanted they should asked for it today. If tomorrow they ask for incentives - I will get the overstay and go Cambodia the day after.

I have done that in the past. Then I just started using agents. My passport is new so I was hoping to avoid using agents. The last time I got an extension (3 months ago), I was in and out within 45 minutes, no queue, no hassle. This time, its the same old place. They're busy but I think they intentionally make things difficult so people will use agents.. The 'no gratuity' policy hasn't worked in our favor.

The only reason I wanted to use it is because immigration told me to come back tomorrow, the day my stamp expires.

I showed up 10:00 am with all my paperwork (I was impressed with myself). They told me I had all my paperwork but the queue was full and they're not processing anymore today. Effectively Pattaya immigration only does extension between 8:30 and 10:00.

I go to great lengths not to use Pattaya immigration office.

But, I think your correct that the system doesn't work, at least in my case, I did't try Bangkok.

I didn't mean or you to explain it. I saw you got an answer. Somebody who knew, understood, and got you an answer. That is the important part. And the question was inherently address to those who would no (which is not me).

In contrast we get several messages with very poor English and its difficult to understand, difficult to help. I am a foreigner living in a foreign land and I don't speak the language.. I am not a person to criticize other's second language skills... But many people use translate so the poor English is a bit rare, making all the more entertaining.

I generally don't make fun of people who don't and can't. But I do poke fun of those who don't but can.

Where you are coming from makes some difference about the advice you get.

Some other things, holiday? are you retired? Where do you plan to stay in Thailand?

that mouse ate the fly, that cat ate the mouse, ...

I am guess I am impressed there is an answer to that question :)

I like pattaya, I don't like the Pattaya immigration.

Last time I went up to Siracha to see if I could use that office, they said I had to go to Pattaya.
