TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry pertains to the current DQ (Documentary Qualification) processing status for IR1 visas at the US embassy in Bangkok. Comments indicate that, post-USCIS approval, the embassy typically takes about two weeks to conduct interviews and complete necessary medical examinations and fee payments, while the USCIS processing can take around six months.

I am guess I am impressed there is an answer to that question :)
I didn't mean or you to explain it. I saw you got an answer. Somebody who knew, understood, and got you an answer. That is the important part. And the question was inherently address to those who would no (which is not me).
In contrast we get several messages with very poor English and its difficult to understand, difficult to help. I am a foreigner living in a foreign land and I don't speak the language.. I am not a person to criticize other's second language skills... But many people use translate so the poor English is a bit rare, making all the more entertaining.
I generally don't make fun of people who don't and can't. But I do poke fun of those who don't but can.
IR after approved by USCIS. Once our IR2 VISA was processed, it took the Embassy about 2 weeks to conduct the interview, Medical, Pay Fee's and get the VISA. It did take 6 months to process through USCIS.
Now USCIS is approving the i130 for spouse in 16 months
And then in the mean time I was just asking around once the doqumentarily qualified ( DQ) with the NVC ( national visa center )
How long does it take to get an interview letter from
US embassy Bangkok
Since my spouse is in Pakistan
And the interview to conduct takes about 2 years I can’t wait that long
Luckily I, as an US citizen have option to transfer my case to US Bangkok embassy
Since I grew up in Thailand
And I’ve heard that once the DQ is done
In Thailand it takes about 2 months from interview letter received till the passport in hand

I was told my processing time would be 24 months. However it was done in 6 months from the time the package was submitted. I was very unhappy to have to leave Thailand. I thought I would have at least another year and a half.
