Anybody know how/where to get Zolpidem/Ambien, in the Pattaya area?

I went to the Pharmacy they told me I had to go see a doctor.

I went to the nearby hospital and the doctor there told me I had to see a specialist.

Any ideas?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Obtaining Zolpidem (Ambien) in Pattaya can be challenging due to its status as a controlled substance requiring a prescription. Users suggest visiting various hospitals or clinics, with recommendations including Bangkok Hospital and Pattaya International Hospital. Some have found success at specific pharmacies, such as one across from the VFW Bar on Soi 13/3, but others report inconsistent availability. It's noted that some doctors may be hesitant to prescribe it due to liability concerns. Alternatives like antihistamines and amitriptyline are also mentioned as easier options for sleep aid.

Never mind,

I have already tried 8 different types of melatonin all were failed, only this company worked for me, my 4th year with it, I have Sleep Apnea.

Wish you good health

Diazepam

"Can cause paranoid or suicidal ideation and impair memory, judgment, and coordination. Combining with other substances, particularly alcohol, can slow breathing and possibly lead to death."

I was looking for something a little less serious

not if you buy the 10mg brand name ones. Not for me at least.

Try amitriptyline 10mg. I used to take Ambien in the US and this is the closest I've found for sleeping through the night fully. And it can be bought at pharmacy cheap. 10pills for $40 baht.

It is supposed to be a controlled substance requiring a DR prescription..... however..... be careful you gets legit product. A local clinic is best bet but over the counter is not advised.

Have trouble sleeping? Try an antihistamine, they work for me and probably easier to get.

I took that once and it made me hallucinate 😆

Yeah, there are many things to take to help you sleep.. I avoid them because of the side effects. When I was younger I would take them because of the side effects.

I find if you go tot bed at the same time and wake up at the same time, your body gets into a rhythm and you don't need that sort of thing anymore. That's been one plus about the pandemic and less travelling. My bodyclock works like clockwork now.

Pattaya. There is a pharmacy directly across from the VFW Bar. A friend of mine got some there.

He gets it every time he comes here. First time he asked for it they said they don’t have it. He told them he got it there before. Miraculously, then it was available.

Yes. This happens in Thailand.

I assume Ambian is a controlled drug in Thailand, requiring a prescription. Any doctor could write you one, but an ER physician probably won't because of liability. Call a couple clinics to see if they will write you one.

Good luck

Let me know if you succeed

Zolpidem is hard to get here

Sometimes they require you to see a psychiatrist

Try Bangkok hospital in Pattaya or Pattaya international hospital

Stacey Logan I went to 10 different pharmacies. I went to the one mentioned here, but it was after hours. No pharmacy would sell to me, I doubt they had any in stock.

I went to Pattaya Hospital both. The first one turned me away, the second one sold them to me. Sold 20 pills.

When I run out I will try Bangkok Hospital. I never thought I would grow up to be a sleep junky.

that's exactly what I found to be the case :( so I try to just go to several different doctors and get the 7 days without seeing a psychiatrist. I always ask the information desk first if they even have zolpidem as to not waste time
