TLDR : Answer Summary
When participating in the Sandbox program in Phuket, it is generally allowed for friends to stay with you after you receive your first negative Covid-19 test result. However, it's best to confirm with your hotel about their specific policies. Some personal experiences suggest that while friends can join you after receiving the negative test, initial entry rules may restrict visitors in the first night unless they are traveling together. Always check local regulations for any updates.

The answer is yes from personal experience after you receive first negative result. Covid isn't the worst thing you can catch in phuket though (speaking for a friend)

Check with your hotel to be sure, but generally once youโ€™ve got your first negative test result back then friends can join you. I do not know what rules are in place for day 5 tests.
