Does any non-aussies have any experience pulling METV from Australia: Perth, Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane. Specifically, I know that Melbourne will accept available credit (eg credit cards) as form a proof of $A8000. Will any of the others? Can anybody attest to user friendliness?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the experiences of non-Australian citizens seeking a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) in various Australian cities. It highlights that Melbourne accepts credit cards as proof of the required financial standing, while others like Sydney do not allow non-Australians to apply. A participant shared their success in obtaining the METV in Brisbane, which also emphasizes the importance of checking with consulates regarding specific visa requirements.

@Ter***
my question to you is:

why are you not emailing the consulates and asking them directly?

I can't even recall someone who asked about using a c/c to hit the financial requirements.
