Just arrived through swampy on a METV from Australia. I have several tourist back-to-back tourist visas- no issues. Maybe I am lucky or most people don't have issues.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user recently shared their experience arriving in Thailand on a METV from Australia, mentioning they had multiple back-to-back tourist visas without issues. This sparked a discussion in the comments that emphasized the general trend of smooth entries for most travelers, though it's noted that the immigration officers may ask for evidence of funds, accommodation, and onward travel. Various commenters agreed that while some travelers report problems, most arrive without incident, suggesting that proper presentation and demeanor can affect the experience.

It is nice to hear feedback for members how things went. It is a fact that more people get into Thailand without any hassle or question than people with any hassle. Before we get here a long list from members telling Us how many visa's they have I will close the commenting. Be aware: The Immigration Officer is allowed to ask the three proofs: Funds, accommodation and onward travel to anybody asking to enter Thailand. That this is randomly done it is well known, that people with extensive history of Tourist Visa and Visa Exempt have a bigger chance to get questions is also know. Be prepared if you travel.

Its mostly/very important how you are dressed, how polite you are etc. Mostly dreadlocked hippies in dirty clothes have a higher chance of being questioned then the well dressed and groomed.

I'm not gonna say it too loud but I think certain criterias, like race and country of origin do play a role. But again, this is an opinion, not a fact.

I think only half of that is correct. "Mostly dreadlocked hippies in dirty clothes have a higher chance of being questioned" I am certain IO everywhere do random checks - I have seen the harass obvious tourist because they didn't quite have all the correct paperwork. I was not especially polite - that is difficult to do when all you have to say is "hello". I was not dressed especially well - I never am after a full-day travel.
I think it's hit-or-miss - mostly miss, unless your a dirty hippy.

Isn't that the same worldwide?

I agree with all said.. I only wanted to point out we usually hear about the problems, but the usual case is no problem. Down with the doom-sayers

The vast majority never have issues.

35 million arrivals a year, if most people would have issues internet would be full of reports.
