Was at Kanchanaburi border crossing this afternoon.

Mostly normal I guess. My first time there.

No hassles - made the border bounce as expected.

Several different nationalities were there also no hassle.

Tod Daniels -- thank you for the level headed advice

There is a lot of misinformation going around. I would encourage people seeking advice, consider the source advice. Are you listening to people with first-hand experience? Really nobody seems to know whats going on, government agencies ( I talked to a few before I came), Visa services (I talked to my usual service), fellow travels - the patrons of this site. All seem clueless.

Good luck and godspeed (don't know what that means).
