TLDR : Answer Summary
The earliest you can extend your tourist visa in Pattaya is generally up to 30 days before its expiration. However, due to COVID-19, some reports indicate Pattaya may still enforce a rule suggesting you can only apply for an extension within 2 days of expiration. It's advised to check with local immigration if you plan to apply early, as experiences of individuals may vary.

Pattaya has been very difficult lately, sending people away and telling them to return when they online have a few days left.

Rules are 30 days, but I've read Pattaya is still enforcing their 2 day before expiration thing because of covid.
