TLDR : Answer Summary
Passengers transferring through airports in countries that enforce quarantine measures should be aware that many countries require transit passengers to also undergo a 14-day quarantine. This poses risks such as lengthy layover times and potential flight cancellations, as highlighted by experiences shared in the comments. It is crucial to confirm all travel arrangements and regulations before flying to avoid complications, like being stuck at an airport due to border closures.

Check this link, it's an updated information for borders
Transit passengers don't enter a country. If there is a prohibition on foriegners flying into an airport, the airline won't be allowed to depart the airport, there is no getting stuck in a transit airport.
The few cases we've seen are not related to transit passengers.
. There are some exceptions now. Certain nationalities cant transit now either at some places . Hong kong have banned certain nationalities unless its specific flights.
KLIA wont allow transits that involve changing terminals to board 2nd international flight. They have 2 int terminals there. Could be more tomorrow for all we know..

there was something about someone getting stuck in KL airport as onward flight cancelled and the malaysian borders closed and they have to spend 2 weeks in the airport waiting and sleeping you need make sure i
everything is cleared before travelling so u don’t end up with same or similar problem good luck
the lady and her son plus other passengers left KL to BKK. Got turned back (she had all the required credentials)... Air Asia took them back to KL... Dumped them all into an empty terminal. No real help. But her messages go out to several including me and pressure mounted from many directions. She was to be held there until April 14. But the public and private pressure popped her loose... She and her son got out 3 days ago

Depends on the country. Many have 14 day quarantine for transit passengers too. Be careful buying a flight. Airlines are still selling tickets with long transit times and layovers without accounting for quarantines.
