What is required to renew/extend? Originally my visa agent did it for me but I am now in Phuket.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew or extend a Covid Visa in Phuket before it expires, you will typically need to prepare the following documents: a signed copy of your passport data page, a passport photo, proof of filing a TM30, signed copy of your departure card (TM6), signed copy of your latest entry stamp, and signed copies of previous Covid extension stamps if applicable in Phuket. You'll also need a filled-out TM7 application form, acknowledgment form STM2, a form indicating your inability to leave due to Covid, and a fee of 1,900 baht. Note that the document requirements may vary by office, and copies must be in portrait orientation. Offices may give you a 'under consideration' stamp which leads to a requirement to return later for final processing.

I didn't need anything except copies that they do there at the office. I'm extended till march 15

But you can reapply when you are 45 days from stamp date
You’ll need this stuff. Not all offices have the same requirements so it may be slightly different depending on which of the 70+ offices you use.
A copy of your passport data page (signed),
A passport photo,
Proof of filing a TM30,
A copy of your departure card (TM6) (signed)
A copy of your latest entry stamp (signed)
A copy of any previous Covid extension stamps (signed) (Phuket requires this other offices may not)
In Phuket they require the copies to be in portrait not landscape. This means the top of your passport aligns along the shorter side of the A4. Except for the Data Page where most passports are “sideways”
(Other offices may not be as pedantic)
A filled out TM7 (application form for extensions) - the form doesn’t have a space for your email or phone number but just write it on the back (page 2).
A filled out STM2 (acknowledgement that you understand the rules for overstaying)
A filled out “I don’t want to leave because of Covid form” - I have no idea if it has an official name or number.
And 1,900 baht.
The forms are available at your local office. Most have places on site or nearby that can do the copies and photos.
Many offices will give you a “under consideration” stamp requiring you to return somewhere from 5-14 days later where they will stamp for the remaining 60 days. If they do you MUST use the same office to “close out” that stamp. For example you cannot get a “under consideration” stamp from Bangkok and close that out in Chiang Mai 15 days later.
If it’s your first time applying for the extension they’ll date it from the day you apply, so you’d lose any remaining days you have on your current stamp. Subsequent applications would be added on to the existing stamp.

ORIGINAL POSTER
Just a follow-up. Yesterday I showed up at the Phuket immigration, in Phuket town. Made copies of several pages in my passport, filled out some forms, went to the main window. They gave me some other forms to fill out, I did, and went back to the window. They gave me a number and I waited for about 30 minutes. I was called to a different window and the person helping me told me to get some more passport pages copied. I came back, signed some papers gave them some money. I was told come back next day.
Next day (today) I went back they gave me a passport with a stamp good until 26 February.. That would be 60 days from my previous stamp.
I don't think I have to wait for the thing to be completed. I think it was one-stop, well two stops, drop-off and pick-up.
I am not sure why agents want 7000+ to do this paperwork.
glad you got your stamp. Unusual that you didn’t get a under consideration stamp, but they keep changing the process. Leo out of preference, but anything wet and cold will suffice 😀
