The automatic extension for visas amidst the COVID-19 situation in Thailand was valid only until April 30, 2020. Visas expiring in May would not automatically extend to June. Visa holders are advised to check for further concessions around the end of April, but it’s commonly suggested to visit immigration to secure extensions if needed.

Terary. The Thai authorities have brought in the concession in order to alleviate the high number of tourists visiting immigration offices. This enables those offices to deal better with non-immigrant visas. It is NOT an automatic 30-day extension. It is an extension until 30 April. If your visa/extension runs into May, if course you are able to stay until that date, and then see if Thailand offers any further concessions.
So i'll go anyway on 21st April to get my 15 extra days i reckon.
Should be quiet anyway....they might even give me the 23 they owe me! (Until May 12th). Failing that another 30 (from April 30 till May 30 will do nicely.) Khop khun krap.
No. This “free” extension for all is only good until the end of April.
If they feel the need they’ll extend it again. Pay attention around the last week of April and you’ll find out. As of now, you’re only good until your stamped in for.
