I know most people in this group eagerly await my updates. So it here it is...

Flew into DMK this morning. Immigration was about 3 minute wait.

I got a new Marriage visa. I applied for and received my marriage visa from Washing DC.. I actually applied for it while in Thailand but I showed proof of travel from Indonesia.. When they asked for the follow-up paperwork, I provided my flight itinerary from Bali to Bangkok, I also explained my situation, that I was on a marriage visa, I let it lapse so I was applying for a new visa. As indicated, they approved the visa. Immigration didn't even ask any questions or any other paperwork.

Of course this time I knew where my wife is/was. They didn't even ask about her whereabouts. I guess I am glad because I couldn't really pronounce it anyway.

PS

"fraud" *criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.

Thank goodness immigration understand English better than many in this group. I never lied about my location. If you read my post you will see I was quite honest about my location and intentions.

The point is, honesty is the best policy and one should try that before bribery..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shares their recent experience flying into Don Mueang Airport (DMK) and successfully obtaining a new Marriage visa from the embassy in Washington, D.C. They provided necessary documentation including a flight itinerary and confirmed their previous visa situation. Immigration was quick and did not ask for additional information, highlighting the importance of honesty in visa applications.

Yeah I was sitting up all night eagerly waiting for your update on how you committed fraud and then post about it on a public forum 😂
John ********
So you committed fraud by applying for a visa while in Thailand?

I dont know that it was fraud. I never said I was one place or the other and I was always quite clear about my travel plans.

I think if they were concerned about it they would ask on the application and/or verify location via GeoIP. I think probably you are more concern then they are.

i dont give a single sh.t personally. But it’s literally stated during the application process, and you literally sign/declared that you are physically located in the country you are applying from. Its also well known, and quite universal for for most countries/embassies for most

countries.

Applying online is no different than applying in person. Otherwise we would all be doing Evisa from thailand and just border bounce to activate it. But we don’t as the consequences of getting caught is quite severe.

So yes you even declared/signed that you were physically in your home country while applying. That is fraud.

Likely you wont get caught, but if immigration notice in the dates in your passport stamps that you were actually in Thailand when applying trough US embassy; you would be facing deportation and blacklisting.

Its your own responsibility so obviously they wouldn’t bother to verify your IP location as VPN are common anyway.
