Today (Saturday 11:00 am). Don Mueang. Coming to Thailand immigration line was 30 minutes. There were Immigration officers herding the crowd to make it run as smoothly as possible. I thanks to them. I report this because it's rare we read about the good experiences on Thai Visa Advice (sorry Tod if off topic)

Talk about it. My 2nd tourist visa run last weekend, and they did all kind of questioning just because I'm sick with a flu which made me look arab -_-", even thought Ive traveled through over 8 countries in 1 year and over 20 cities/islands <_< and asked me to see everything. Starting to think I should just get the thai elite visa as it was pretty annoying. Suggestion of the day: Always do your beard before emigration + sleep whole night + wear glasses if you sick I guess or dont get suntanned while enjoying a beach afternoon on islands. Makes huge difference in how they treat you at any airport in asia. At least they wont act like your a terrorist in disguise with a fake passaport lol.

Were they offering cold drinks and snacks? LOL Thanks for the positive and my usual experiences for many years at immigration in Thailand.

Oh - yeah. Nothing else remarkable. Did not have to hassle with showing proof of anything, no rental lease, onward travel, proof of funds.. Simply "Enjoy your stay' NEXT.
