Mine was like 3 weeks. Others get it back in a few hours.

I was in a similar situation. A couple of trips to the Pattaya Immigration. The last one they told me to come back the day before the holiday. If I waited until that day, and they told me to come back, again, I would have been screwed.

I recommend getting your extension sooner than later just to be on the safe side.

Lot depends on the Immigration Office you use.

I am pretty sure you can try. And I think you will be successful.

I did tourist visas back-to-back for years. I would typically leave Thailand for 2 or 3 weeks and comeback on a new visa. Sometimes I would bound across the border for lunch and comeback. This worked for me for years, 3 or 4. However it comes with risks so you should always have a plan B. Travel on Saturdays, try to route through smaller airports, etc. Its not the best option but it worked out ok for me.

I figured it elite visa cost about the same as 2 week long visa runs. I opted not to do elite because I enjoy visiting other countries. But it can be a pain in the ass.

Once you give the airline your money, its gone. Dah.

I think you can apply for Thai Visa from Thai embassy US (LA, DC, the others). There is one member in this group said they pulled a visa while in Turkey from Thai embassy in US. When I did applied for my visa, from US, they only asked which embassy I wanted to use, there was no verification that I was in the US at the time.

My girlfriend (Thai), has made several flights with only one shot of vaccine. I think they asked her, sometimes, to go take a test. She disappeared 10-15 minutes and came back. I assume she went to 711 got the test. It is doable to fly just one shot of vaccine.
