Hi, my DTV application has been pending for about two weeks and I need to fly next Monday.
I just wanted to check if entering Thailand before the DTV is approved would affect my application. If I travel in first, would I still be able to return to Singapore and re-enter Thailand again once the DTV is approved?
Applying from Singapore embassy.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
27 9am : Just got result today. Rejected. Can go 🇹🇭 without regrets 😁.
Started a Non O visa application 27/11/25 after getting various emails requesting further documents. I sent my final document 16/12/25. The web site still says processing application. I fly Christmas Day with no NON O visa. I’m will be in Thailand for 59 days. What can I do if I receive the visa while in Thailand. I was hoping to have it in place at my time of arrival as I need to open a bank account.
I need some clarification. Is it true that travelers entering Thailand under the visa-exemption scheme must show 20,000 THB per person and 40,000 THB per family and that this amount must be in cash (Thai Baht)? Is there any official confirmation on the Royal Gazette website that this rule is now required?
As far as I know, the requirement has always been 10,000 THB per person and 20,000 THB per family. There is a lot of confusion about this topic, especially now that visa runs are under strict scrutiny. But is this higher amount mandatory even for regular travelers who are not doing visa runs? Please help me understand.
its my first time entering Thailand, my dtv has been approved and I have printed it and have it with my passport. what other documents do I need to have ready to show immigration upon arrival?
